Ezhuthiniruthu (also known as Vidyarambham) is a traditional Hindu ritual, particularly popular in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, where young children are initiated into learning. It typically involves a child writing their first letters, often on a tray of rice or sand, under the guidance of a guru or elder. This ceremony is considered an auspicious start to a child’s education and usually takes place during the Vijayadashami day.
